We all seem to be adjusting pretty dang well to the new family addition. My recovery has been amazingly fast, Ava has been a healthy and happy baby so far, and Jocelyn seems to think her little sister is pretty cool. I am so glad that we decided to do this birth at home and drug free, it has made the transition go very smoothly.
We have some other great news, too, other than the new baby! Rob got a great new telecommuting job on Monday and he's already started. We've been so blessed lately and it seems like every time we go through a rough period, financially or otherwise, it has been a precursor to some huge blessing. Not only is this job sufficient for pay, but it came to us at exactly the right time and the best part of all, Rob gets to stay home with me during the day! It is going to be a bit of an adjustment knowing that he is home and he still has to work, but I'm sure we'll get into the routine of things.
Jocelyn is doing well, I think she's getting a little bit restless in the house, being couped up all day, but as some of these pictures show, Rob has been taking her out front to ride her bike and she is doing great! I think we're going to have to keep a close eye on her this summer with those bike skills of hers.
Anyway, that's all that's going on around here these days...just taking it one day at a time. :)
